| "Owning a NoWet franchise has been a huge change in my life. After working in the Vehicle Industry (for Holden) for 17 years doing the same thing day in and day out, I can now work the hours that I want to work and get to meet so many different people. With hard work and plenty of support, my client base has grown well and I now look forward to expanding in the very near future." David Larcombe - Franchise Owner in South Australia |

About the product
Can I test the product myself?
Yes. You should test the waterless product that you intend to use in your business yourself. Feel the finish that it leaves on the car and see how it looks on dark vehicles.
Is the product genuinely environmentally friendly?
Yes. This is important because you will be using this product every day in your business. NoWet is made from all natural ingredients and doesn’t contain any silicones, abrasives, petroleum distillates, harmful chemicals or detergents. Some waterless products and services describe themselves as environmentally friendly purely because they don’t use water but have contents that can be decidedly unfriendly.
Does the product’s Material Safety Data Sheet list any hazardous ingredients?
No. NoWet is made from all natural ingredients and doesn’t contain any hazardous components. This is supported by its Material Safety Data Sheet, a document in which the hazardous ingredients of a waterless car wash must be listed by law. This is important for the future as the content of other waterless products may well be brought into question. Ask to see this document before using a product in your business.
What does the product smell like?
Another way to test if the waterless product is people safe is to use your sense of smell. Some products have a harsh, unpleasant odour, while others are sickly sweet. NoWet has a clean, fresh smell. This is important as you will be using the product indoors, in showrooms and in workshops.
Has the product received the Good Environmental Choice Mark?
Yes. NoWet is the only waterless car cleaning product to receive the Good Environmental Choice Mark. The Good Environmental Choice Label is the only environmental labelling program which indicates the environmental performance of a product from a whole of product life perspective for consumer goods.
About the business
Can I sell products as well as operate a car detailing business, to generate extra income?
Yes. There are some people who will always want to clean their own cars and why should you miss out on this market? You have the option of selling NoWet and other products to private and commercial accounts. This provides you with an extra earning capacity, a passive income from product supplies and an alternative for when it rains.
What are the franchise fees, marketing levies and other charges?
NoWet is possibly the best value for money franchised waterless carwash business opportunity in the country. Please contact the master franchisee in your state for details of the franchisee fee, marketing levy and other costs.
Do I pay any fees if I expand my business within my territory?
No. Our aim is for you to expand your operation to the level that you desire to achieve your lifestyle goals. This may involve taking on employees to work within your territory. We don’t charge any additional fees for this which allows you to build your business with confidence and increase your return. We believe in rewarding you for your hard work, not charging you more!
Am I able to buy products in bulk and what am I paying for these products?
We supply products in bulk (4L & 5L) which keeps the costs down. Please contact the master franchisee in your state for pricing details.
Is all of the advertising levy spent on promoting my services rather than on selling franchises?
100% of this money is spent on advertising and promoting our services within each state to generate business for you. This may include such things as Yellow Pages ads, public relations and trade shows. It is not spent on promoting our franchise system. Make sure that all your money is spent on promoting your services for your benefit. You deserve every avenue to make your business more profitable for you.
About support
What is included in the franchise package?
We provide you with everything that you will need to start, operate and manage your business so you are ready to go from day one. Contact the Master Franchisee in your state for details on what is included.
What ongoing support is provided?
Promotions and advertising via the advertising levy, regular contact, on site visits, memberships of organisations, marketing material design, website updates and a percentage of product sales paid into the advertising fund. Contact the master franchisee in your state for more information.
What customers does the company supply and how are these generated?
Enquiries come to a state based phone number or email address and are passed on to the nearest franchisee. These enquiries are generated via the website from a strong position on Google, Yellow Pages Online ads (not in all States), advertising from franchisee vehicles, Public Relations, Motor Shows, networking and corporate accounts created by the master franchisee.
Does the Franchisor or Master Franchisee also run a franchise?
No, except WA. As a result, all enquiries that come via the state based phone number and email are passed on to the franchisees.
